The ring just got here - and it's breathtaking! You are truly a miracle worker.
It looks so much better than I even imagined it could. Thank you, thank you, thank
you! And thanks to everyone there who worked on it. The engraving looks wonderful.
I'm speechless. I've already given your card to three girls in the office - they
can't believe the difference from my first set.
Outstanding work!

Aaaaaaaaaaack!! It's awesome! Didn't think the pear was gonna sit up that high
on the ring, but it looks ok. You guys did a great job....on all of them. You
*do* realize, however, that Jerome will have to be beaten severely when he gets
back. How DARE he leave the estates before my rings are complete! What nerve!
::laughs:: Does he prefer whips & chains or does he have another method of punishment
he likes better? ::quirks her brow & smirks....then, unable to contain her laughter,
busts up::
Anyway....back to the rings. I would prefer to have all of them here, at least
for now. We can work out the engraving dilemma this way....Have Jan issue a refund
of the engraving costs, to be returned with the rings & after the first of the
year, I can send the ring & the funds back & the engraving can be done then OR
send all the rings back, leave the funds for the engraving there & schedule the
engraving for my engagement ring the day Jerome gets back, at the end of October.
I can send the ring back a few days before he returns, so it'll be all ready for
him when he walks in.
Let me know. If at all possible, we'd like the rings as quickly as we can get
them. Just in case, I've again placed our mailing address below:
I can assume (I know, baaaaad thing to do ::giggles::) the package will be sent
either FedEx or insured certified? Our thanks again to everyone there. Take care
& talk with you soon.

Bill,
What can I say....you're the best! I'm so impressed.
Even though you knew I was completely sold, and you've already got all my money,
You still took the time to shoot some more shots just for my pure enjoyment.
You've made my week!
I pulled up the link that you sent last night for several people at work today.
Let me tell you, even the guys were oooohing and awwwwing. I'm not kidding! The
ladies were obviously impressed, but to get the guys wowing at just the pictures,
you've done some excellent work.
Here's something else to make you smile. The wonderful man I'm going to marry
has absolutely no appreciation for jewelry. He'll wear the simple gold band I'm
giving him, but he doesn't even wear a watch. Do you remember that drawing you
sent? The one I made some adjustments to? When I showed him the drawing he said
it looked like a W.W.W.F. wrestling belt! Course he was trying to bait me.
Tell you what though, the pics have so impressed him that he is VERY excited about
seeing the ring tomorrow.
Thanks so much to all of you for your hard work and incredible attention to detail.
When I pick myself up off the floor, after seeing the real thing tomorrow, I'll
shoot you another e-mail.
Take care,
L

Hello Ray,
The last time you heard from me I was crying on the phone because I couldn't find
a reputable appraiser. This was back in April. Well my husband tracked one down
and everything got sorted out. My ring got appraised for 12,000 dollars!!!!!
:)
I'm e-mailing you because I still get compliments on my ring.
I'm so proud of my ring. When we were first married I never thought I'd wear a
diamond because of our finances. I never imagined that I would be wearing a high
quality ring at that. I can tell that you spent a lot of time on it. You'll probably
hear from me again because I'm looking for platinum earrings to match my ring.
Keep up the great work. I've told virtually everyone that I know about your website
and I know two of them are looking. One lady that works with my husband wants
a ring just like mine. Here's to another honeymoon thanks to you!!

Gary,
The ring is a smidgen too big. It slips pretty easily over her knuckle and off
her finger. How can we make it a 1/4 to 1/2 size smaller? Do you have to actually
cut it, then solder the cut? That sounds like it would leave a nasty scar there.
Any ideas on how we should proceed with making it a little smaller. She loves
the ring and is glad I have such great taste! Thanks again.
Of course, she said "YES!!!!" ;-)

Hey Ray:
Barry forwarded your e-mail of yesterday of my ring finished. Well, I took your
advice, and got a glass of wine and enjoyed gazing at the intricate details of
my ring. I love the little hearts! It truly is a work of art, and you are a wonderful
artist. I truly feel so lucky to know that I am getting a ring made just for me
that is just exquisite!
Please go ahead with the 3 mm comfort band to match (that can be worn alone) and
Barry is now fine with a platinum band per your e-mail with the 6 mm milligrain
edge and engraving that was shown.
I saw the e-mail at around 10pm last night, and was sleepless at 2 am, had to
see it again... it is a dream come true, especially since, when Barry gave me
a store bought engagement ring a month ago, we found out after getting it appraised,
the diamond had been switched. Of course, the ring went back, and that's how we
decided to only go with a GIA diamond and learned about you through your friend
at Affordable Diamonds, beause of your beautiful custom mountings. Needless to
say, everything happens for a reason, and it was worth the wait. Now, I can't
wait to see it in person!
Thank you for all your creativity and energy. You will always remembered and referred
by us.

Ray, I ordered a ring about a year ago and wanted to tell you all that has happened
since.
First, I was super leery to order on the 'net. And my husband is a lawyer--naturally
a suspicious guy. But your price was so good and you were so nice he finally relented.
I sent you a setting and you mounted the diamond. It's a 1.6 carat princess cut
in a platinum setting with 3 princess cuts on either side. I took it so a very
reputable jewelery in Westport Connecticut and he looked it over and said it was
an absolutely fabulous diamond--dead square and well proportioned.
I didn't have the GIA cert with me but he appraised it as a VS diamond when the
cert said SI1. And the color was G but he said it was really far on the F side.
He appraised it about $2500 more than I paid. COOL. Anyway thank you soooo much.
The entire transaction and the end result--the ring--were perfection.
In my son's words--you guys rock!
Amy, Fairfield, Connecticut.

Hi Ray, just wanted to thank you for the wonderful work that you did on the wedding
bands that I ordered. We were so excited to get them that my fiancee came over

One question and one request, though. The question: Is there a picture of the
rings anywhere on your site (easier to have friends link to that then to take
a decent picture of them)? The request: There wasn't an invoice that was sent
with the rings. Could I please get a copy of it for my records?

Subject: This may be a stupid question, but...
What is the stone called "black diamond"? A long time ago (don't ask) when I was
much younger (don't ask), my parents (there's a clue) gave me a gold ring with
a black diamond. I loved that ring. I didn't care if it was a piece of black glass
or polished coal, I loved that ring, and I was heart-broken when I lost it. It
still haunts me. Do you know what that type of stone a "black diamond" is? I'm
guessing it's a gemstone of some kind if it even qualifies as that. Is it available?
By the way, you made a beautiful diamond engagement ring (celtic design) for my
son and his fiancee a couple of years ago, and it was and still is the fireball
you described. They had been to Italy before, loved it and decided to get married
there so 20 of us went to Italy for their wedding. For the few who don't live
here in Arizona and who hadn't seen the ring before, they all thought it was gorgeous.
That diamond was indeed a true prize. It appraised at nearly double what he paid
for it, and they've recommended you to everyone who's complimented the ring.
:) :) :) She was ecstatic. She was fantastic. Thanks for asking. She loves it
the ring. It is what we had looked at before Christmas. Except this one turned
out leaps and bounds above what we had seen. She's still showing it off every
chance she gets. You know she showed her appreciation! Wow!
She did leave the ring at a jeweler last week while she traveled. (I wanted to
at least make sure the stone matched the cert. I was trying to do what you told
me, but didn't make all the right connections at the right time. I did at least
want to let you know, by checking, that I wasn't worried about the stone being
something other than what I was told.) Sue is leaving the ring again for the full
appraisal and mapping session this week, so she'll be without it again while she
travels. The appraisal jeweler couldn't do it last week, so it's being done this
week. Sue doesn't know the value, so wasn't able to give them one. They will have
to decide themselves what it's worth.
Sue's already gotten used to having the ring on, and misses it when she doesn't.
Because of her travel, we will probably just get her a normal band to wear on
some of her sojourns. I'd hate to have her lose a finger, or have it stolen. Some
of the places she travels are not always the best places to be. I'd just like
to remove temptation if I can. Granted it's not overly huge. It can be replaced.
But I don't want to take any chances with her if I can help it.
"Duane's" ring was great. I was copying off some of the *.jpg's of Sue's ring
when I saw the finished pictures. I had seen the original two stones and wondered
which he would choose. I can tell by the color that he chose the 9.something carat
stone. It had the darker, more brilliant color. The ring turned out great. The
wax version didn't do the finished product justice. It was beautiful.
I will enjoy watching your site in the future. I have no doubt we will do business
again in some form or another.
I'll let you know what we find out.
Thanks again.

Yep! Ms. Brooks-- now Mrs. Waddell --has entrusted HER wedding ring to your care.
This wedding ring refinsh project won't be the last either. I've still got an
aquamarine setting that, I KNOW, should be an example for your Hall of Shame page.
The shank is so thin that it has conformed to my finger and in probably just a
matter of time will snap! I don't wear it very much and that's a shame.
Anyway...since '99 I don't fail to recommend Tradeshop to others who don't fear

Hi, Duane.
Got it. Loved it. Secured it.
Tom was very pleased with his ring. He doesn't show alot of emotion (unlike
me!) but he seemed like he was happy with his choice. I already have his ring
in my safety deposit box until THE day! Did I tell you we are getting married
on 9-1-1? Kinda catchy don't you think? I picked the date, Tom picked the month.
I wanted a date that I'd remember (I would tend to be the one to forget the
anniversary...oops). I'm going to have them engraved for September : T.D. +
V.R. 9-1-1. Yeah, I like it.
Tom did ask me if there was any documentation as to the diamonds in his ring.
I vaguely remember you saying the manufacturer will probably set 'g' color and
SI2's but I can't be certain. Duane, IF at all possible, would you please send
me information on the diamonds in Tom's ring?
I've already given away two of your cards and I just got his ring yesterday!
I'll put a stash in my purse and we'll see how far these cards can go.
Thanks again. I think the ring is classy and will look even better once it is
on Tom's hand!

Hi Duane and Ray,
I meant to get back to you before now with the following values. Sue did have
the ring appraised. Just so her judgement wouldn't be tainted, the lady appraiser
wasn't shown the original certification, or told the purchase value, until after
she was finished with her appraisal. She mapped the inclusions and whatever else
she does, and was able to match the original certification pretty closely. She
appraised the gold band and mounting at $275. The stone at $8000. Total figures
then being $8,275!!! An almost 37% increase in value from purchase price!!!

Dear Duane,
Sorry it has taken me so long to write this thank you. Even though my stone is
synthetic, everybody LOVES the ring--the way the crown and mitered band show off
the stone. We can't get over how the band ends seem to just disappear into the
base of the crown. You can't see the where the two pieces are joined at all--it
looks seamless--another example of Tradeshop's fine craftsmanship.
I have an antique setting that needs some rebuilding; it's really a lovely mounting.
I know that Tradeshop can do a wonderful job for me, so you'll be hearing from
me again in the future.
Thanks again for the great customer service and wonderful craftsmanship!

I would like the AGS certificate sent to me, Please reply. Thank you,
I hope to be shipping it back to you shortly to have the stones set and sized.
One small item---Bill had said he would only charge the $12 for 3-day Fedex shipping,
not the next day, $25. He was supposed to have shipped the set last week and didn't---so
he shipped it next day since it was a mistake. If you could, please credit my
card the $13 difference. Any problems, let me know.
Thanks! It is exactly what I was looking for!

I just got the ring. I have to that it is spectacular. The diamond is amazing
and the setting is phenominal.
I spent months researching diamonds and settings. I went to the mall retailers
and then I check you guys out. I spent about a third of the money that I would
have at a mall store and I got three times the ring from you.
And the great thing is that I know that my fiance won't see another ring like
hers, ever.
Already everyone in the office has been asking me where I got the ring. I think
you all may have to get used to shipping to Florida.
I want to especially thank Duane for his help in finding that perfect diamond
for me. And also a special thanks to Bill for being patient in going through several
ring designs until we finally developed something that was unique and affordable.
I have to say that I will never buy jewelery from a mall again. Why would I pay
those massive prices for esembly line products when I can spend half the money
and get something of superior quality and something that is truely one of a kind.
Very Sincerely,

Brian,
Ray here, webmeister and all that :)
Good Morning and sorry to bother you with this request.
During all of the excitement of having our ring built, I completely forgot to
save our pictures from your web-site. Our ring has been completed since late June
and has recently been moved off the site (looks really cool these days)to make
room for the new projects.
Aaaahhhh grasshopper, I never remove anything... That went to an archive page,
that is linked at the bottom of the "current.shtml" page where I show custom...
I try to keep the "Current" page smaller now for a faster load, and archive the
other projects in a series of pages that are a running archive or our special
order and custom projects :)
If you have any spare time, we had a platinum, hand-engraved, princess cut ring
with side trillions. The current project page had it listed as "Baughn Humbug".
Hope this is not a terrible inconvenience. Any pictures you can send would be
greatly appreciated. Take care and let's hope the snow is good this year.
That ring is super fine Chris, and it was my pleasure to send you these links,
for you make us what we are, and this project is a perfect example of what we
can do... Thanks fer writing :)

Ray,
Coolness. It's been a pleasure purchasing from you guys, you should be receiving
an order for wedding bands in the upcoming year from us. : ) I'm thinking a custom
3 rings-in-one job, but haven't worked out all the details yet. But first things
first, gotta get engaged. : )
Now, if you can, you gotta do one favor for me, which is give me the juice so
I have some swagger when detailing all of the finer points of the ring and what
it cost to my buddies. : )
I understand the whole center stone rating, its the ring I wasn't clear about,
I noticed it cost more than other platinum-gold two-tones, but wasn't sure why.
From what I learned on your site, it has 6 Bagguettes, for a total weight of approximately
.33 carats. From the sidestone chart on your site, depending on their quality,
that can be up to $2000pct, or $2000 x 0.33 = $667 roughly. So that leaves $1100
or more for the ring, right? How does that value get determined? I know the 18KT
gold is better than 14 KT, and I recall seeing something about your platinum having
a 10% iridium mixture, but that is it. When we were doing some browsing at stores,
a lot of the 2-tones were going for $600-$800 or so, I figured there must be a
difference in weight, metal, design or something, but was at a loss on how to
explain that to my buddies.
Again, thanks for all the service, it's been a pleasure.

Subject: Rings....
Hello Bill!
The rings arrived today, and they are beautiful. I don't know how to broach the
subject, so I'll just go for it!
I remember asking that my ring be 3- 31/2 mm, as my existing ring is a good 4+
mm wide, and I wanted them to have a similar feel to them. As far as I can tell,
the one that I received is a hair over 2mm, and looks a little "light" next to
my existing ring.
Now, I still think it is wonderful, and realize a lot of work went into it. However,
I would like to consider having it beefed up a little..... What would it entail
to have it made in the larger width? I know there was some special ordering of
the stock, etc, etc, so it might be more involved than I want to get. But, if
you give me an idea of the time/money that would be involved, it would at least
allow me to decide if I wanted to go down that path.
Plus, Rich just arrived home, and it looks like his is at least a half -size too
big. We had him fitted at a local jeweler, and a 10-1/2 fit perfectly. Now, I
feel like maybe I've totally screwed up...... What can I do about all of this???
Are there some jewelers who fit better than others?
Anyway, let me know what you think. I feel terrible....
You guys did such a tremendously wonderful job. I can't believe how beautiful
Mike's ring is. He loves it too!! The ring made it in time for the wedding
and we are very happily enjoying married life now.
I can't thank you enough for all your hard work, support, suggestions, and
patience. Please pass my sincere thanks on to everyone that contributed to
this project.

Hi Bill,
Just got the ring, and it looks spectacular. The only question I have
is that I remember that either you or Randy and I had talked about leaving a small
sizing area at the bottom of the ring so that if it needs to be adjusted further
on down the road, the wonderful design of the engraving would not be compromised.
I don't plan on sizing it anytime soon, maybe in a few years if my finger gets
a little bigger or something, but do you have any suggestions? I really like the
engraving the way it is right now, but I just wanted to make you aware of this
minor miscommunication.
Aside from that, I would say this exceeded my expectations for this piece. Great
job, guys!
Thanks,
Melody

Dear Bill,
Meet Chris. Chris...meet Bill. What a wonderful feeling it is to have two geeks--one
of whom is also a jeweler, the other of whom is my fiance'-- in cahoots with each
other to make sure that the most important object I have ever placed on my body
is one that will make me very happy. It is thoughts like these that make me an
evil, evil woman. This is what makes being a girl REALLY FUN! (This, and the fact
that the guy always has to kill the spider AND pay for dinner.)
First of all, Bill -- Chris and I are totally comfortable with sending you our
center stone for you to mount. Matter of fact, as long as I've wanted to own a
piece of your artwork, we wouldn't have it any other way. (Found your site about
2 years ago and have enjoyed it as much for its e-commerce philosophy as I have
for its gorgeous content. Your customer service is outrageous... a model for the
way e-business should be conducted. And Chris and I are qualified critics in this
arena -- particularly Chris. (Smooch, smooch, Darling... :-)
The rings: I like the plain white gold one for my center stone. The one that's
under $600. (Don't sigh with relief yet, Chris, because I want diamonds in my
wedding band. But my bonus should take care of that one, and also your wedding
band. Getting scared yet, Darling? You should be...I've been wearing my makeup
to bed so you won't really see what I look like in the morning.)
Caveat: Bill, can you inscribe on the inside of my engagement ring the following:
"Will you cater to every fantasy I've got?"
And, on my wedding ring, I want inscribed on the inside: "Will you hose me down
with Holy Water, if I get too hot?"
While I'm hoping that you're laughing at this point -- I'm a writer, can you tell?
-- I'm also completely serious about the inscriptions. They may be too lengthy
to do, but I would like it if it's possible.
And with that, I leave you both -- my jeweler and my beloved -- to work out the
details. But remember, regardless of what we (women) say, too many diamonds is
never enough! Chris, Bill will need exact specifications on Diamond so that he
can make the setting. When it's all made up, we'll send it to him for a couple
of days so he can set it. Kay? Kay! Yay!
Bill, I think Chris has his own timing in respect to this project, so the communication
about money and delivery should be with him from here on out. (Gee, I love being
a girl! GET me a grape!) But you can call or email me when you need a laugh or
two. (Chris, whenever YOU need a laugh, you can just hit that nasty pothole on
Post Rd. while I'm trying to put on my lipstick in the car.)
Oh, and one more thing...the one elusive element of every relationship that is
more important than any other aspect... PERFECT COMIC TIMING! Remember that and
you'll never see the inside of divorce court.
Kisses to Chris, and hugs to Bill.

Hi Mary.
Here's the scoop.
We can build you a "trellis" ring, very similar to the picture you sent Ray in
Feb. of last year, or similar to the one we built and seen at : http://www.tradeshop.com/temp15/sarog.done.jpghttp://www.tradeshop.com/temp15/sarog.done.jpg
, but with your round center (approximately 7.0 mm?), and a pair of 5.5 mm Chatham
rubies, three stones total.
First, the metal portion. We can get you the ring in a 18 K yellow gold, and all
the setting, excluding any stones, for $375.
Now, the rubies. I can get a pair in their "fair" quality for $350, or in a nicer
"gem" quality for $450.
NEXT!
Something similar to : http://www.tradeshop.com/temp16/peasedone.jpghttp://www.tradeshop.com/temp16/peasedone.jpg
, in 14 K white gold, setting your center. Hey! I think we can do this one for
you for $525. That's close, huh?
NEXT!
How about something like : http://www.tradeshop.com/temp12/hollenbeck.done.jpeghttp://www.tradeshop.com/temp12/hollenbeck.done.jpeg
, with heart shaped diamonds? We'll supply VS 1-2, F color sides to match your
center, approximately 1/2 ct. TW, and in 18 K yellow, with a 14 K white gold crown
( nice look! ), it will run you $1505. If you wanted to go with 5 mm Chatham rubies
in the sides ( again, a nice look with the two tone! ), it would be $905. Did
I say nice look?
What think ye?
let me know.
I look forward to hearing back from you.

OH MOMMA!!!!!
If you haven't figured it out yet, I just now received my ring. It is simply beautiful
- it's exactly what Patty described to me as being her idea of the perfect engagement
ring! In all of the shopping I've done, I never saw anything that even came close
to what I am now holding! I'm sure gonna be "THE MAN" when I break this baby out!
Thank you!!
Now I'm off to have this beauty checked out, and I'm only doing that because you
advise that we do so - we being the lucky ones who choose to do business with
your outfit. I'm positive that I have a stellar piece here!!
You guys ROCK!!!
We'll be calling on you soon for our bands.
Thanks again!! A very, very happy man,

Just received my package from "Lucky's Drafting Co." Wowzers!!!
It looks so much better in person than in those web pictures (and the pictures
looked great too!)
Please tell Gary, Duane, and even Ray that I am quite impressed and I will be
VERY proud to present your handiwork to the future Mrs. Butler!
Lets hope she is also bedazzled and hypnotized by the ring and succumbs to my
amazing charm and dashing good looks. ;-)

Jan and Ray,
I wanted to let you know that we received my ring. It is beautiful. We've had
it appraised for insurance replacement purposes already. The jeweler who appraised
it made the following comments- beautiful workmanship- (on a scale of 1 - 10 with
mall jewelry stores stuff generally a 3- Tradeshop's work was an 8 or a 9)- lovely
weight, well-set stones that should remain trouble free.
He said the stones were E-F color- as requested and ideal cut, as requested. The
only place where he disagreed that we got what we wanted was on clarity. We were
looking for VS1 -2, he thought we'd gotten VS2 - SI 1. I was a little disappointed
by that but he did have to look awful hard to come to that conclusion and he did
change to that from originally being a VS1-2. In the end, he appraised the ring
for replacement purposes a full $1,500 more than we paid for it. He also said
we only paid $300 over true wholesale and complained that he couldn't understand
how you were in business.
In the end, I'm really happy with my Tradeshop purchase. The ideal cut and nice
color stones really sparkle in sunlight and several women I work with have asked
for the URL for your site.
For other folks considering Tradeshop- I was the original tough customer. I checked
references, I called the Better Business Bureau, I even called their bank. They
are who they say they are. I'm really glad I chose Tradeshop and plan on contacting
you in the future when I am ready for the earrings and maybe a green tormaline
pendant.
Thank you again for all your help!

Hi Jan and Ray.
Thought you'd like to know that I saw the gemologist/appraiser this week and she
was just totally bowled over by my platinum trio, couldn't believe the beauty
of the stones and the craftsmanship-appraised the three rings for almost triple
what I paid you guys! Now I need a burglar alarm......
So thanks again. I get rave reviews daily anytime I wear my rings (and sending
pictures is still on MY list). Jan, when you get a chance, could you send a duplicate
receipt? My original got tossed in a cleaning frenzy I think. Luckily I still
have my GIA certificate to tuck away in the safety deposit box. Have a great week.
I'll continue to tell everyone I see where I got my masterpieces from, and encourage
them to do the same. Thanks. gina

Ring arrived as hoped on Friday and I proposed on Saturday AM. (She said "YES!").
The ring is BEAUTIFUL!! At first seemed substantial for her hand due to the very
solid shank, but she is rapidly growing more comfortable with it and says her
hand feels naked without it on. Anyway, it is exactly what I had envisioned and
is a perfect home for the beautiful diamond! I had the stone checked out by a

Hi Ray,
I just wanted to drop you a note and thank you for the great work finding me a
one in a million diamond and mounting it spectacularly.
When I decided I wanted a 1.57 carat D, IF, I was pretty nervous about buying
such a thing. The idea of ordering a $25K+ diamond on the Internet seemed a bit
out there, but your site convinced me you were a man of passion about what you
do. From the moment I contacted The Tradeshop, I was in good hands.
As for the diamond you found, I had it appraised locally and the appraiser was
very skeptical about an Internet purchase. This quickly turned to more "magnificent"
comments than I could record. Here's a few tidbits:
"A magnificent piece"
"Obviously someone took a great deal of time and care cutting this. Extraordinary."
"This is beautiful, just beautiful."
"I'm surprised he (you) would even put this in a ring. This is the kind of piece
you put in a safe-deposit box"
As for the appraisal: you charged me $24,950 for the diamond; the jeweler said
*his* cost would be $24,625. The final appraisal was over $33K (and I think he
hedged it a bit on the low side, because he was embarrassed about me getting it
"on the Internet"). Am I pleased? YOU BETCHA!
The platinum and gold ring you made is spectacular as well. Absolutely gorgeous.
Stacy loved it .... and said YES!
Thanks Ray (Jan too, and everyone else). You do great work and I'll be ordering
from you again -- as well as telling all my friends.
Warmest regards,
Jim Polizo

Subject: Trillion Diamond couldn't be more perfect... Status: RO
Ray,
Just wanted to start off by saying it has been a pleasure doing business with
a remarkable man like yourself. I received the Trillion diamond yesterday morning
and immediately took it to one of the finest jewelry chains in all of Florida.
As soon as the appraiser set eyes on the diamond he quickly feel in love with
it.
He stated that this "Is one of the most impressive trillion cut diamonds I have
ever seen." It was at that moment I became fully confident in my purchase and
the decision I made to buy the diamond through your website.
As posted on your site, the trillion was appraised as having "D/E" color....He
mentioned in order for him to rate it a perfect "D" color he would need to send
it off somewhere, but in his books it was a perfect "D". The clarity of the diamond
was "VS1" and the carat weight of ".73". And here is the part that really knocked
my socks off, he appraised the value of the trillion for almost $1,200 dollars
more than I had originally paid for it. It is definitely safe to say that you
can send the original certificate to me and that you will probably never see this
magnificent diamond again 8-}.
I am now about to purchase a beautiful mounting for this perfect trillion to complete
a perfect ring. However, the hard part of this whole ordeal is about to come in
less than a week, when I surprise my wonderful girlfriend on our seven day cruise
and pop the big question. She has put-up with me for seven years now and I think
it is safe to say she deserves the best that I can possibly give her.
Feel free to post this on your referrals page and you can also post my work number
if any skeptical buyers would like to contact me. For all the skeptical buyers
out there, feel free to contact me for any information that you may want at (813)
801-7175. As I have discovered this is definitely a 110% legitimate site and will
be to your advantage to purchase anything from Tradeshop Incorporated, as for
you will be saving yourself a great deal of money. Once again, thanks for all
your assistance and I will hopefully be able to send you some pictures from our
cruise with my lovely girlfriend modeling the ring for you... *8-}~

In all honesty, I have not had the time to get in touch with you lately.
I wanted to let you know that the ring was a huge success with my gf's brother
and his new fiance. I do not have the item number on me for the diamond, but,
I am sure you can see who I am by looking at my name. The diamond was absolutely
awesome! I have seen many diamonds in my days, but, this diamond was just as fine...if
not finer than 98% of them.
Please send the original GIA certificate asap. The diamond is being appraised
over the next couple days. However, I am quite sure of your quality and I trust
you until you prove otherwise. The way I do business is simple, do right by me...and
I'll stay loyal to you. But, if you were to try and pass off poor stones or workmanship
(which I know Tradeshop would NEVER do) I would simply take my business elsewhere.
I am easy. You can send the GIA cert. to the same address the ring went to. I
will be contacting you again in the upcoming months for another diamond purchase,
so, keep an ear out for me. Thanks again for a wonderful ring and a really breathtaking
diamond. Keep up the great work! Take care--JIM

Hi Bill,
The ring arrived today and it is beautiful. Sandy and I are both pleased with
the finished product.
She did notice that the prongs on the one side stone are still a little 'curved'
although not as badly as in the image. On close examination I could see where
some work had been done on it to visually decrease the curvature -- thanks. I
also noticed the prongs were still slightly out of 'square' but this is a small
detail not noticed by most viewers. We are going to live with it and enjoy it.
She has waited too long and neither of us are disturbed enough by these issues
to want to part with the ring at this time.
Thanks for all your efforts.
I have recommended you to a friend -- Veronica Brown.
She has a ring made of 'junk' that she loves the shape and look of. I told her
that if she provided it to you folks, you could surely turn it into a piece of
jewelry she would treasure. She is a hard working single parent with few dreams,
of which this is one. I am sending her to you because we both know you specialize
in turning dreams into reality.

this a trouble free experience. I will be taking it in for an appraisal tomorrow
and should get the written results back in 5 - 7 days.

Ray,
:) Another happy camper.
Appraisal came in at $4800.00. I've already got it insured for the year, so I
plan on keeping it. Please send me the original certificate for my files.
Thanks for your fine craftsmanship.
Also, for dealing with an internet site, I felt I got personal attention and prompt
reply to questions, and ultimately, very prompt service.
It is exquisitely, sumptuously, drop dead gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can not thank you enough Ray, I'm sure my Mother will absolutely fall in love
with it, how could she not???
I've already driven all over town showing all my friends and family (except my
Mother). Everyone was VERY impressed.
If you ever need a reference, I would love to help you. I really can't thank you
enough for a job well done.
Sincerely,

Duane,
I got the diamond and gave it to Linda yesterday.
She LOVES it! It is an absolutely exquisite diamond.
It certainly does look waaay bigger than .80. I'll be letting you know soon when
to send the original cert. I'm having it validated this week.
You've been great doing business with and I'll be in touch in the next couple
months to have you build a wedding ring (guard, wrap...) for it so remember what
it looked like!
Thanks again to you and those I dealt with.

Gary and all,
We got our rings awhile back and it's been a madhouse working full time, my fiance
going to school full time, and planning a wedding on top of it all, but I just
wanted to let you all know that the rings are beautiful - beyond what we had imagined.
Both were appraised hundreds above what we had paid you and the appraiser was
very very impressed with your work. He seemed to be a bit jealous in a way as
he tried to play it down, but he kept looking flustered and wanted to know the
name of your company over and over again.
Thank you again for such fine craftsmenship and if ever the occassion should arise,
we shall refer anyone whom ever asks to you.
Hi Jan and Ray. Ring #3 arrived safely this AM. You should see the 3 of them
together! I feel like the Tiffany poster girl or something..... Each one of the
rings is fabulous, and as a set they are unbelievable! I will try to forward some
digital pictures next week when I have some time. Meanwhile, thank you both for
all the personal attention and for providing such a quality handcrafted product.
I'm sure it is a hassle at times, but the jewelry buying public is fortunate indeed.
Have a great day!!!

Dear Ray,
I can't begin to put into words how beautiful the ring is. After picking it up
from Fed Ex and taking it to a gemologist to confirm it's authenticity, I waited
a day or so and over a lovely dinner this evening I popped the question. My now
fiance was bolled over by the magnificance of the diamond and of course your craftsmanship.
Please send the original papers at your convenience.

P.S. Ray, I read your Bio page and aside from letting you know I think the ring
is just gorgeous - I think you should also know there is no valid reliable research
that states spelling has anything to so with intelligence.

Hi, Gar':
I simply LOVE this ring.
You couldn't have done a better job of helping me with just the right features.
Ray did an outstanding job of creating this ring.
When we do the other band, will you remember the EXACT style # of this band I
have now. It is the BEST. It is the plumpest, heaviest look and yet it is so feminine
too. You have got to remember this style number when we put together the other
band. It may be for a few months yet.
Many thanks, again, for helping me have the best ring creation I could ever imagine.
I am going to write to Ray and tell him how much I have appreciated your pleasant,
positive help during these last 4 months.
Have a wonderful Christmas. I hope you get invited to a wild Christmas party and
you can drink champagne and sing Christmas carols and eat all the chocolate you
want.
Take care for now,
Janelle

Gary was so terrific. No matter how exhausting my request were, no matter how
silly my thoughts were, no matter how busy he was. . . . he always made me feel
like I was his only customer. He was always friendly, respectful of my thoughts,
and very thorough with style ideas and prices.
He is very good at this line of work. Thanks for having him as part of your staff.

Hey guys. Just wanted to drop you a note and say thanks! The ring, and more importantly
the diamond, is awesome!!! Today I had an appraiser match the diamond to the certificate
and appraise the ring.
In regards to the diamond, I have never heard the word "incredible" repeated so
many times within a 30 minute period. He was very impressed with the quality of
the diamond and was very professional and courteous. Not once did he ask where
I got it or how much I paid. He was strictly business and gave me a letter of
appraisal for over twice the price I paid at Tradeshop. So, if anyone needs a
good appraiser in the middle Tennessee area, his contact info is......

I received the ring early, on Saturday! I was very happy to avoid trying to get
it on a work day, plus thrilled to receive it early. It's beautiful! Randy was
able to create exactly what I wanted just from a few conversations and notes!
The diamonds are very clean just as Duane said. I will try to get it appraised
this week but I'm not sure if I can due to the holidays. I might need a little
longer approval period, but I don't anticipate any problems at all.
Thanks to all of you and Happy Holidays!
P.S. Randy - you were right - I put it on my finger and that's where it stayed.
Luckily my husband didn't care to wrap it up for Christmas Day - he liked it on
my finger too!

After they picked me up off the floor...I love the rings! But they are too big
for my left hand, I need to go find out the correct size. We also decided they
are humongous on one finger so I am going to wear one on each hand. Right now
I am wearing the engagement ring on my right hand, it seems to fit fine. We were
thinking I could wear the wedding band on the left hand by itself, but I will
need to send it back to get sized smaller.
I won't tell you the one word expletive Nick said when he saw them. We were really
impressed by the workmanship and weight of the rings. The center diamond looks
gorgeous!
Thanks so much

Bill & Ray,
Thank you so much for this work of art you sent to me. It far exceeded what I
expected to receive. The pictures on the net definitely do not do your masterpieces
judge.
I am probably one of the pickest jewelry people around. Usually, when I buy a
piece of jewelry, I end up returning it. The pieces that I really love are usually
far out of reach. It was quite delightful( and surprising) to find a set of rings
that look like a million bucks but do not cost it.
The rings' weight, engraving detail, and diamond quality, are just incredible.
I have never seen a set that I like more. Even my fiance, who thinks jewelry is
jewelry, dropped his bottom lip and said "WOW!!!!".
Thanks again and Happy Holidays!!!! Herlaine

would need to keep the ring for 2 days -
I love it so much that I don't want to leave it anywhere for 2 days! Do you know
of anyone in Portland who could do it while I wait? I really only need the appraisal
for insurance purposes. Thank you very much for your help and also, I love the

Dear Randy,
It will take the local jeweler about a week to work up an estimate to replace
the center stone basket. In his opinion, the 4 prong basket should have the prongs
placed more in the corners, like the rubies. By the way, he thought that the color
of the rubies was fabulous! He asked for a value for the ring, I said 13,000.00
and he gave me a skeptical look. I said, well the diamond alone is 10,000 and
he said 10,000 ?, I think you have that wrong this is a much more valuable stone!
Anyway, I'll have them do an independant appraisal and let you know what they
come up with for the ring. By the way, this is no "mall" jeweler. Shreve, Crump
and Lowe is as old and as Boston as Boston itself. I read in the paper that they
are currently working on a millenium diamond necklace for $5,000,000.00, they
have 3 interested parties.
Did you get the chocolates? They are some of Boston's best!
Thanks,
Pat

ring was a huge surprise and continues to impress everyone, including strangers

We were able to have a local jeweler examine the stone and appraise for insurance

She loved it! She was also very surprised.
One minor issue: I did not realize that she had planned to wear it on her middle
finger instead of her ring finger. The ring is a size 4 and fits perfectly on
her ring finger. If she wants to wear it on her middle finger, it would probably
have to be a size 4.5 or 5. If she thought she wanted too, could it be sized without
great difficulty? Just curious.
She really loved it, and could not believe how heavy it was. I can tell you that
it was a lot heavier than the ones we looked at in the malls earlier this year!
Hope your holidays are enjoyable,

Ray,
Thank-you for all the help.
She is extremely happy with the ring. The stone is absolutely beautiful. You did
a wonderful job setting the stone. The stone produces an unbelievable firey brilliance.
I am worried that when she is driving, she doesn't watch the road, but her hand
on the steering wheel. Truly mesmerizing.
I also had it appraised, and it obviously produced Rappaport +. What I found satisfying
was when I asked the jeweler what he would have charged me, he quoted $700 more.
He obviously had nothing to lose by quoting me lower than he would actually sell,
so I feel the price was more than fair.
Thank-you once again, and please forward the original GIA to my home.
